Field Service & Deployment Engineer (Robotics)

Location: USA Remote & Travel; travel to customer sites is required up to 100% of the time

What you will do

• Lead and support on-site deployments of autonomous robotic systems, including installation, calibration, commissioning, and startup.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and basic software issues to minimize downtime and restore system performance.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and system health checks.
• Support remote diagnostics and escalations in collaboration with Engineering and Technical Support.
• Train customer operators and site personnel on system operation, safety procedures, and best practices.
• Document repairs, troubleshooting steps, photos, and site conditions for tracking and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in field service, robotics, automation, industrial equipment, or a similar technical role.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and basic software systems.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings, and to use hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and technical documentation.
• Strong communication skills for working directly with customers and cross-functional internal teams.
• Valid driver’s license, frequent travel availability, and ability to work around industrial equipment and lift up to 50 pounds are required.
