Commercial Counsel

Location: Billerica, Massachusetts, or another U.S. hirify.global location

Salary: $125,500–$157,000 per year, plus annual bonus eligibility

What you will do

• Advise Global Procurement and business stakeholders on commercial and procurement matters.
• Review, draft, and negotiate supply, contract manufacturing, lease, sales, and other complex commercial agreements.
• Provide day-to-day legal guidance and resolve issues arising in active commercial relationships.
• Improve contract templates, negotiation positions, playbooks, and contract management processes.
• Support CLM system enhancements and AI-driven legal technology solutions.
• Partner with procurement, legal, and business teams on strategic initiatives and escalated commercial disputes.

Requirements

• J.D. or equivalent degree and active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• At least 4 years of commercial contracting experience, including procurement and/or sales agreements.
• Strong negotiation, drafting, issue-spotting, communication, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to manage complex negotiations independently and drive them to closure.
• Fluency in English required.
• Must not require hirify.global immigration sponsorship now or in the future, including H-1B, TN, or STEM OPT sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience in semiconductor, manufacturing, or high-tech industries.
• Experience negotiating IT or SaaS agreements.
• Experience with or strong interest in AI tools and legal technology.
• Chinese, Japanese, or Korean language skills.
