Location: Idaho Falls, Idaho, or remote within the United States. Remote employees must travel to headquarters in Santa Clara, California, twice per quarter based on business or team needs and work in person at headquarters during the first two weeks of onboarding. Applicants must meet the applicable U.S. person eligibility requirements for potential access to U.S. export-controlled information.
Salary: $80,000–$120,000 annually

What you will do
- Support implementation, maintenance, assessment, and continuous improvement of project quality assurance programs under ASME NQA-1, ANSI/ANS-15.8, regulatory requirements, and company procedures.
- Develop quality plans, inspection and test plans, checklists, surveillance plans, quality matrices, acceptance criteria, and hold or witness points.
- Perform and document source, receiving, in-process, construction, and final inspections across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and controls work.
- Review engineering, procurement, supplier, construction, inspection, testing, commissioning, and turnover documentation for compliance and traceability.
- Manage nonconformance reports, deviations, corrective actions, root-cause evaluations, audits, surveillances, findings, and effectiveness verifications.
- Support construction completion, system turnover, commissioning, readiness reviews, testing, and project closeout.
Requirements
- 3+ years of quality assurance, quality control, quality engineering, inspection, construction, or related experience in nuclear energy, Department of Energy work, EPC projects, or another highly regulated technical environment.
- Working knowledge of ASME NQA-1 and/or ANSI/ANS-15.8 and the ability to apply quality requirements across project execution activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, quality, physical science, or a related field, or equivalent education, training, and experience.
- Experience reviewing drawings, specifications, procedures, procurement documents, inspection and test plans, construction work packages, supplier documentation, and objective quality evidence.
- Experience performing field inspections and supporting audits, surveillances, nonconformance control, corrective actions, and quality records activities.
- Ability to work on-site in Idaho Falls when required and travel to supplier, contractor, headquarters, or other project locations.
Nice to have
- Experience with nuclear facility construction, advanced reactors, research reactors, fuel-cycle facilities, or Department of Energy nuclear projects.
- EPC experience spanning engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, turnover, and project closeout.
- NQA-1 auditor, ASQ quality, AWS CWI, ACI, ICC, NICET, or equivalent certification.
- Familiarity with 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR Part 21, DOE Order 414.1D, commercial grade dedication, ASME, AWS, or ACI codes.
- Experience with electronic quality management, construction management, document control, inspection, or digital turnover systems.
