Nuclear QA Manager - Land (Nuclear Quality Assurance): Implementing and continuously improving quality assurance programs for nuclear projects and services with an accent on ASME NQA-1 compliance, independent project oversight, supplier quality, audits, and corrective actions. Focus on reviewing engineering and procurement deliverables, managing records and nonconformances, and ensuring quality requirements are integrated into regulated project execution.

What you will do

  • Implement, maintain, and improve the Nuclear Quality Assurance Program in accordance with ASME NQA-1 and client-specific requirements.
  • Provide independent quality oversight for engineering, consulting, field, supplier, and subcontractor activities supporting nuclear projects.
  • Review project quality plans, procedures, engineering deliverables, procurement documents, and records for compliance.
  • Manage document control, records retention, nonconformance reporting, corrective actions, and quality performance metrics.
  • Plan and conduct internal audits, supplier audits, surveillances, and assessments.
  • Represent the Nuclear Quality function in client, project, and internal meetings.

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physical Science, Construction Management, Quality Assurance, or a related technical discipline.
  • At least 10 years of experience in commercial nuclear power, DOE nuclear, nuclear engineering, or a related regulated industry.
  • At least 5 years of experience implementing, managing, auditing, or overseeing Nuclear Quality Assurance programs compliant with ASME NQA-1.
  • Experience with quality audits, supplier assessments, corrective action investigations, compliance reviews, documentation, records management, and configuration management.
  • Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record and a valid passport, as international travel or assignments may be required.

Nice to have

  • NQA-1 Lead Auditor qualification or equivalent nuclear audit qualification.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality management standards.
