Fabrication Oversight Representative (Nuclear)

Location: Remote; frequent travel to supplier facilities required, up to 75%. The salary range is specific to Seattle, Washington. Applicants may be subject to U.S. Government export-control review based on nationality and immigration status.

What you will do

• Provide independent oversight of supplier fabrication activities, schedules, resources, inspections, and deliverables.
• Monitor fabrication documentation, including travelers, non-destructive examination and inspection reports, weld records, and shop documentation.
• Coordinate technical interfaces between suppliers, engineering, project support, quality assurance, and commercial teams.
• Review discrepancies, supplier deliverables, technical data packages, and contract-related requirements.
• Support quality-assurance hold and witness points, surveillances, and technical reviews.
• Verify packaging, weight, markings, loading, shipment readiness, and issue weekly progress reports.

Requirements

• Technical degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, nuclear, systems, or civil engineering, or equivalent training and experience.
• 10–20 years of experience in supplier oversight.
• In-depth knowledge of fabrication travelers, welding, and related manufacturing processes.
• Experience interpreting supplier work scopes, contracts, and commercial requirements and providing project direction and oversight.
• Experience interfacing with suppliers and engineering groups in manufacturing environments.
• Broad understanding of ASME and AWS codes; strong communication, integrity, and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with the UL 508A standard for assemblies containing control-circuit components, motor controllers, and related devices.
• Technical experience in nuclear, mechanical, electrical, chemical, systems, or civil engineering.
