Senior Manufacturing Engineering Manager (Solar Energy)

Location: Onsite in Shenzhen, China

What you will do

• Lead the manufacturing engineering team in China and provide process standards and technical support to factories in Africa.
• Develop and validate technologies, materials, processes, equipment, products, and manufacturing platforms for new product introduction.
• Apply design-for-manufacturability principles during early product development to align R&D and manufacturing and shorten NPI cycles.
• Improve mass-production efficiency through lean manufacturing, automation, continuous improvement, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Use SPC, DOE, FMEA, and related engineering methods to investigate production anomalies and implement corrective actions.
• Manage MES secondary development, process documentation, engineering change notifications, KPIs, and technical team execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• 10+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in electronic or electrical products, including at least 5 years in energy storage product manufacturing.
• Deep expertise in PCBA manufacturing processes, including SMT, DIP, testing, and rework.
• Practical experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, PFMEA, and Design for X methodologies.
• Experience collaborating with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, and contract manufacturers.
• Full professional English proficiency required for work in global teams.
