What you will do

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance.
• Industrialize new products and localization projects in cooperation with production, R&D, quality, procurement, logistics, finance, suppliers, and divisional teams.
• Lead automation and digital manufacturing initiatives, including robotics, automated production lines, MES, data collection, KPI dashboards, process simulation, and smart factory applications.
• Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement through process reengineering, Kaizen, routing-time optimization, and productivity programs.
• Manage manufacturing engineering budgets, CAPEX business cases, investment planning, project benefits, operational risks, and governance reporting.
• Lead, coach, and develop a multi-skilled manufacturing engineering team of approximately 4–5 FTEs.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Very good spoken and written English and Chinese are required.
• 5–10+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or process development.
• Experience in industrial production, including cleanliness and washing, assembly, testing, and painting processes.
• Experience leading and managing an engineering team, with strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, industrialization, and lean systems.
• Experience with automation, digital manufacturing, Industry 4.0 solutions, CAPEX investments, and manufacturing improvement business cases; familiarity with ISO, IATF, and ATEX requirements.
