TL;DR
Machine Operator Lead (Semiconductor Manufacturing): Directing operator teams and running automated and semi-automated equipment used to produce semiconductor products with an accent on wafer processing, output coordination, and quality compliance. Focus on operating wafer saw and grind equipment, performing first-level maintenance, identifying defects, and supporting operator training across compressed 12-hour shifts.

Location: Onsite in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA; compressed 12-hour day or night shifts, 7am–7pm or 7pm–7am.

Hourly pay: $23.00–$26.00.

What you will do

  • Set daily team goals, organize operators, and coordinate staffing to meet production output requirements.
  • Operate wafer saw, wafer grind, traditional fabrication, and robotic assembly equipment.
  • Set up production equipment and perform first-level maintenance while meeting quality and productivity targets.
  • Inspect results against predetermined tolerances, identify defects, and support audits and corrective actions.
  • Direct operators in accordance with company policy, assist with training, and resolve personnel or teamwork issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering, management, maintenance, HR, operations, and other support departments.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of machine operating experience preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to work onsite in Colorado Springs on compressed 12-hour shifts and attend possible off-shift meetings or classes.
  • Ability to stand for a 12-hour shift and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Mechanical aptitude, visual and finger dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to read component markings and polarity.
  • Ability to interpret engineering documentation and work instructions.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
