Production Specialist (Night Shift) (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States; onsite night shift

Salary: $19–$23 per hour plus an 18% night-shift differential.

What you will do

• Follow cleanroom protocols and wear the required smock and personal protective equipment.
• Learn to operate equipment used to manufacture silicon wafers for computer chips.
• Check and qualify tools and run engineering experiments to verify that equipment and processes remain within specified limits.
• Communicate equipment or process issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Develop expertise across multiple cleanroom areas and support production goals.
• Train other operators after becoming proficient with assigned toolsets.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer, math, reading comprehension, and written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to follow detailed equipment instructions, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, maintain dependable attendance, and follow an assigned schedule.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom suit and PPE for the full shift, including additional PPE when handling chemicals.
• Ability to stand for 95% of the shift, walk for 90%, carry and lift 6 pounds, and push or pull up to 85 pounds on wheels.
