Production Specialist (Day Shift) (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite at the Colorado Springs, Colorado facility, United States. Day-shift schedules are either Sunday–Tuesday plus every other Wednesday, or Thursday–Saturday plus every other Wednesday, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:12 p.m.

Hourly pay: $19–$23 USD per hour.

What you will do

• Learn and follow cleanroom protocols, including smock and PPE requirements.
• Operate manufacturing tools used to produce silicon wafers for computer chips.
• Check and qualify equipment and run engineering experiments to verify that processes remain within specified limits.
• Report equipment or process issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Learn multiple toolsets and production areas to support team priorities and production goals.
• Share knowledge and train other operators after becoming proficient.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer, math, reading comprehension, written communication, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to follow detailed equipment instructions, meet deadlines, maintain attention to detail, and work independently and in a team.
• Dependable attendance, punctuality, adaptability, and availability for an assigned schedule.
• Ability to perform repetitive work and wear a cleanroom suit and PPE for the full shift, with additional PPE when handling chemicals.
• Ability to stand for approximately 95% of the shift, walk 90%, sit 5%, lift and carry 6 pounds, and push or pull up to 85 pounds on wheels.
