Firm Operations Project Manager

Location: Washington, DC, United States; hybrid schedule with regular in-office presence

Annual salary: $110,000–$160,000, with a potentially higher range for senior-level candidates.

What you will do

• Manage up to five high-profile, related projects simultaneously across firm operations.
• Lead projects involving agile custom software development, software and vendor selection, RFI/RFP processes, and process reengineering.
• Develop delivery, test, release, change management, and communication plans while tracking risks, issues, dependencies, assignments, and milestones.
• Document business needs, requirements, outcomes, roles, responsibilities, and project scope throughout implementation and post-implementation.
• Coordinate stakeholders and teams through budgeting, procurement, resource planning, operational readiness, and delivery.
• Establish program-level KPIs and reports, communicate progress and risks to leadership, and recommend efficient and cost-effective improvements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of project management and project planning experience implementing projects; senior-level candidates require 5+ years of applicable experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, iManage, and other firm applications after completing hirify.global orientation.
• Ability to work extended or weekend hours and travel when required.
• Strong strategic and critical thinking, business acumen, risk awareness, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Experience combining project delivery and business analysis, with the ability to prioritize multiple competing initiatives.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Certified Project Manager qualification and/or PMP credential.
• Experience with process improvement, software and vendor evaluation and selection, RFPs, implementations, and agile custom software development.
• Experience in the legal or operations industry.
