Project Manager (AI)

Location: Fully remote opportunity with U.S. locations listed, including Palo Alto, New York, San Francisco, Austin, Boulder, Century City, Delaware, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, San Diego, Seattle, and Washington, D.C.

Salary: $131,750–$178,250 per year in Palo Alto, New York, and San Francisco; $119,000–$161,000 per year in Austin, Boulder, Century City, Delaware, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, San Diego, Seattle, Washington, D.C., and other locations.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of technology, AI, automation, and digital innovation projects within a PMO framework.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, governance, prioritization, stage gates, and reporting.
• Partner with business analysts and cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements and deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Coordinate internal teams, external vendors, steering committees, working sessions, and executive communications.
• Evaluate software and AI platforms, optimize business processes, and identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.
• Drive change management, training, communications, user adoption, feedback collection, and post-implementation enhancements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT project management, business analysis, or related roles.
• Strong experience with PMO governance, portfolio management, standardized delivery frameworks, and concurrent project management.
• Hands-on experience with Smartsheet, including advanced solutions, dashboards, and workflow automations.
• Foundational understanding of AI tools and technologies, software development lifecycle, web technologies, and enterprise systems.
• Strong requirements elicitation, analytical, organizational, communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
• Experience with change management methodologies and driving user adoption; PMP training or certification and Smartsheet certification are strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience managing or contributing to AI, automation, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Smartsheet Product and Solution Certification.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management training.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
