TL;DR
Senior Logistics Specialist (International Freight): Coordinating ocean shipments of household energy storage products, solar lamps, and related equipment to African markets with an accent on freight execution, certification documentation, and supplier performance. Focus on managing factory and forwarder operations, supporting SAP logistics module design and testing, and improving shipment allocation and cost reporting.

Location: Onsite in Shenzhen, China

What you will do

  • Coordinate ocean shipping bookings, cargo inspections, container loading, and deliveries with factories, freight forwarders, and inspection agencies.
  • Maintain accurate shipment records and prepare logistics reports.
  • Prepare documentation for destination-country product conformity certifications, including PVoC.
  • Analyze logistics business requirements and support SAP logistics module design and testing with data and IT teams.
  • Manage supplier qualification, selection, resource updates, shipment allocation, freight costs, and service-performance reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • At least 5 years of experience in international freight transportation.
  • Proficiency in office software, including Excel, and basic data analysis skills.
  • Fluent English in reading and speaking is required.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with destination-country conformity certifications such as PVoC.
  • Experience in logistics service procurement or supplier management.
  • Experience operating logistics systems such as SAP.
