Director, Internal Communications

Location: United States. Fully remote outside a 30-mile radius of a hirify.global office; hybrid within a 30-mile radius, with three days per week in office.

US base salary range: $119,300–$371,300 USD per year, plus possible annual bonus, stock, and other incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Own the internal communications strategy, editorial calendar, message architecture, channels, platforms, vendors, and budget.
• Lead employee communications for organizational change, acquisitions, integrations, AI adoption, policy changes, and regulated-market consultations.
• Develop all-hands content, organizational announcements, executive briefing materials, and approval processes.
• Build manager enablement programs, cascade materials, leader briefings, and support for employee questions.
• Manage internal communications for earnings cycles, quiet periods, blackout windows, crises, restructures, and workforce actions.
• Establish measurement and employee-listening frameworks covering reach, comprehension, sentiment, and two-way communication.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in internal or employee communications, including meaningful leadership experience in a fast-growing B2B SaaS or enterprise technology company.
• Required experience with public-company communications, earnings cycles, quiet periods, blackout discipline, and disclosure judgment.
• Significant experience communicating large-scale change, including reorgs, strategic pivots, leadership transitions, acquisitions, and integrations.
• Strong writing and editing skills across all-hands content, announcements, manager toolkits, change communications, and newsletters.
• Experience managing multi-channel communications platforms, globally distributed workforces, localization, and regional consultation requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, organizational development, marketing, or a related field; hands-on proficiency with modern AI tools.
