Supply Planning Manager

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end supply plan across the product portfolio, translating demand forecasts and production requirements into material and component requirements.
• Place, manage, and track purchase orders, ensuring supplier commitments are confirmed, on schedule, and escalated early when at risk.
• Build strategic relationships with contract manufacturers and key suppliers, using those relationships to expedite orders and resolve delivery constraints.
• Map supply-chain risks, including single-source exposure, lead-time constraints, and geopolitical vulnerabilities, and execute mitigation plans.
• Define supply-planning metrics covering availability, on-time delivery, forecast accuracy, and inventory position.
• Build and lead a high-performance supply-planning team by setting priorities, removing blockers, and developing team members.

Requirements

• Solid experience in supply or materials planning within a hardware or electronics manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of MRP, purchase-order management, inventory control, and demand-to-supply planning.
• Experience working directly with suppliers and contract manufacturers on factory scheduling, escalation, and expediting.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to build supply-plan analysis and identify meaningful trends in operational data.
• High ownership, reliable follow-through, clear communication, and a proactive approach to resolving supply problems.
• Ability to work from the Auckland office as part of an office-first culture.
