What you will do

• Coordinate and dynamically schedule harvesting contractors and logging trucks.
• Optimize daily load uplifts, fleet utilization, and distribution costs.
• Execute and monitor wood flow plans using specialized logistics software.
• Resolve operational bottlenecks and negotiate with suppliers and customers in the field.
• Track, analyze, and report production, inventory, and delivery targets.

Requirements

• Strong professional communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
• Experience managing multiple operational priorities and solving problems under pressure.
• High IT literacy with strong organizational and structured time-management abilities.
• Legal entitlement to work in New Zealand.

Nice to have

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in forestry, logistics, business, or a related field.
• Operational knowledge or experience in forestry or trucking.
• Experience with Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or transport dispatch platforms.
