Community Manager, French Speaking (Contract)

Location: Remote; candidates must be based in the United Kingdom or Ireland.

What you will do

• Develop a deep understanding of the French market, user needs, moderator challenges, and local opportunities.
• Build strategic plans to cultivate, recruit, educate, and grow local volunteer moderator communities.
• Design conversion funnels that onboard power users and external creators as active moderators.
• Iterate, innovate, and scale international consumer growth programs and playbooks.
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative data, set KPIs, and use insights to improve community initiatives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Community, Engineering, Marketing, Safety, and BD teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in community development, project management, growth, operations, or product consulting.
• Experience delivering community-led projects with measurable business impact.
• Deep knowledge of French culture, current events, politics, customs, traditions, language, and internet culture.
• Proficiency in French and English is required.
• Strong communication, execution, analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to frame problems, test hypotheses, drive projects, and improve processes.
