Senior Technical Project Manager (AI)

Location: San Francisco, California; hybrid work

Base salary: $163,000–$185,000 per year, plus bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Direct planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of complex cross-functional software projects.
• Guide production release activities, resolve cross-team dependencies, and mitigate risks across release cycles.
• Identify workflow bottlenecks and implement AI agents, LLMs, and low-code/no-code automation to reduce manual work.
• Maintain FDA audit readiness across Design Controls, Software Validation, and QMSR requirements.
• Manage medical-grade certification audits and follow-up activities.
• Administer Jira controlled spaces and maintain requirements-to-verification traceability in line with IEC 62304.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a TPM, Project Manager, or Release Manager in a software development organization.
• Experience planning complex software projects, managing dependencies and risks, and coordinating diverse technical teams.
• Experience using AI agents, LLMs, and low-code/no-code tools to automate internal workflows.
• Experience managing SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar audits.
• Advanced Jira administration skills, including workflow customization and permission management, with strong communication, organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
