Senior Lead, Technical AI Project Manager (AI)

Location: Pleasanton, United States; candidates within a reasonable commute to a hirify.global office must work onsite at least 3 days per week.

Salary: $190,000–$238,000 per year, plus eligible short-term and long-term incentive programs.

What you will do

• Architect and lead Agile delivery models, ceremonies, workflows, and operating rhythms for AI and Automation initiatives.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale AI and Automation programs from concept through production deployment and long-term business adoption.
• Bridge technical teams, business partners, and executive leadership by translating business strategy into technical direction and business impact.
• Identify and mitigate AI-specific risks, including data quality, model bias, ethical considerations, and performance degradation.
• Drive responsible AI and data governance practices across project workflows.
• Influence AI strategy, investment priorities, innovation initiatives, and multi-year program direction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 10 years of technical program management experience, including 5 years leading large-scale AI or Automation programs from concept through adoption.
• Deep hands-on Scrum Master experience and ability to lead Agile ceremonies and workflows.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification required.
• Strong familiarity with the AI development lifecycle, core machine learning concepts, and AI project delivery challenges.
• Ability to influence senior executives, connect technical and business priorities, and make consequential decisions under ambiguity.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI services on GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience scaling Agile and Scrum practices across multiple teams or an enterprise; CSP or PMI-ACP certification.
• FinTech or enterprise SaaS experience.
• Practical experience applying responsible AI principles in production systems.
• Working knowledge of AI/ML programming languages and a master’s degree in a related technical or business field.
