Senior Planner-Engineering (Manufacturing)

Location: Beverly, Massachusetts, United States. Applicants must provide proof of US citizenship, permanent US residency, or protected-individual status under U.S. export-control regulations. The position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Annual base salary: $46,000–$128,000, plus restricted stock units, quarterly bonuses, health benefits, retirement savings plans, and an employee stock purchase plan.

What you will do

• Coordinate engineering projects, build plans, material availability, and prototype builds.
• Manage engineering BOMs, MBOMs, item creation, BOM structures, routing, and AX system settings.
• Oversee EOL and dormant-item inventory disposition, lifecycle tracking, warehouse transfers, and inventory reviews.
• Support forecasting, risk buys, predictive inventory management, sales-order confirmation, and build-plan priorities.
• Lead engineering change control and facilitate collaboration among engineering, production planning, purchasing, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams.
• Host engineering collaboration meetings and act as a communication bridge between production-floor and planning teams.

Requirements

• 9 years of direct planning experience, or 5 years with a relevant bachelor’s degree, or 3 years with a master’s degree.
• Experience with engineering change management, inventory disposition, and forecasting.
• High-level knowledge of Dynamics AX, Agile, business structures, BOMs, MRP settings, warehouses, and related systems.
• Technical and engineering knowledge, or the ability to develop expertise in relevant areas.
• Strong negotiation, collaboration, communication, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills, including the ability to challenge and refine decisions.
• US citizenship, permanent US residency, or protected-individual status is required; immigration sponsorship is not available.
