Supply Chain Planning Analyst (Semiconductor)

Location: Austin, TX; relocation eligible; travel required up to 10% of the time.

Salary: $108,000–$148,500 per year.

What you will do

• Support supply response planning across multiple product families and planning horizons, analyzing material, capacity, inventory, and supplier constraints.
• Identify supply-demand gaps, develop constrained and unconstrained scenarios, and recommend mitigation actions.
• Analyze forecast, build plan, inventory, capacity, and supplier performance data; perform root cause analysis on shortages, forecast misses, and planning variances.
• Prepare executive-ready summaries, dashboards, presentations, and quantitative business cases.
• Coordinate planning inputs across Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Product Management, and Business Units.
• Improve planning processes, data quality, governance, automation, and SAP IBP adoption, including testing and deployment of enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Demand Planning, Production Planning, Operations Planning, or Integrated Business Planning.
• Strong understanding of demand planning, supply planning, capacity planning, and inventory management, with practical experience in S&OP or IBP processes.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing operations and supplier collaboration, including experience in complex, multi-level BOM manufacturing environments.
• Structured problem solving, root cause analysis, scenario modeling, and the ability to influence across functions without direct authority.
• Working knowledge of SAP IBP or a comparable planning platform such as APO, Kinaxis, or Blue Yonder.
• Experience with SAP ECC or S/4HANA in a planning or materials context.
• Advanced Excel skills, including large-dataset analysis and reconciliation.

Nice to have

• Experience in semiconductor equipment, semiconductor manufacturing, high-tech, or capital equipment industries.
• APICS CPIM, CSCP, or an equivalent certification.
• Exposure to SQL or other query tools for planning data analysis.
• Experience supporting planning system implementations or process redesign.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.
