Planner (Manufacturing)

Location: Nashua, NH, United States; on-site. Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:00 pm. The role is only open to U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or foreign nationals with refugee or asylee status; temporary visa holders are not eligible.

Salary: $56,160–$62,000 per year.

What you will do

• Schedule orders across multiple plants, validate dates and capacity, maintain lead times, and expedite customer orders for on-time completion.
• Balance production capacity, inventory, materials, and customer demand while coordinating with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Supply Chain.
• Monitor inventory and support inventory-control activities with Purchasing and Supply Chain.
• Define and create work centers with Engineering and collaborate with the development team to streamline scheduling.
• Drive process improvements, efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and operational compliance across manufacturing plants.
• Cut purchase orders, package parts, obtain quotes, and vet and secure vendors for finishing and outsourcing services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience in a manufacturing, technical, or business environment.
• 8 years of related scheduling experience or 3–5 years of planning experience using an ERP system.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Knowledge of commonly used Supply Chain concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Detail orientation sufficient to complete full RFQs involving multiple materials and suppliers.
