Planner (Manufacturing)

Salary: $52,556–$75,080 per year.

What you will do

• Review planning reports, create STOs, and convert planned orders into process orders aligned with customer ship dates.
• Consolidate and optimize process orders, including the use of available blocked stock and QC-approved distressed inventory.
• Schedule manufacturing activities based on equipment availability and delivery requirements.
• Identify material shortages, resolve inventory discrepancies, and support rescheduling caused by equipment issues.
• Print, review, prioritize, and maintain accurate shop-floor documentation.
• Coordinate with Customer Service, Raw Material Planning, QC, Production, and outside toll manufacturers, including purchase orders, schedules, invoices, and GRIR monitoring.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of SAP SD, MM, and PP modules or similar ERP systems.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Effective communication across all organizational levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience prioritizing work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to collaborate across Supply Chain, Production, Quality, and Planning teams.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting chemical, flavor, or specialty manufacturing operations.
• Familiarity with toll manufacturing coordination and inventory reconciliation.
• Prior exposure to high-odor or specialty chemical production environments.
