Avionics Production Supervisor (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Lead and supervise technicians manufacturing cable harnesses, electrical component assemblies, and avionics subsystems.
• Coordinate shift resources, readiness checks, handovers, production reviews, and recovery plans.
• Monitor floor operations, work instructions, quality, safety, cost, and schedule performance.
• Manage technician schedules, PTO, timecards, skills matrices, staffing, and training needs.
• Partner with Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, and Supply Chain to resolve production issues.
• Drive safety, cost, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 4+ years of cable harness or avionics manufacturing experience.
• 2+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with wire processing, harness testing, connector termination, soldering, and crimping.
• Experience developing and improving shop procedures and work instructions.
• Strong technical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and manufacturing software.
• Must be eligible under U.S. ITAR requirements as a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or holder of required U.S. government authorizations. Ability to work on-site, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice to have

• Experience leading aerospace or space production teams.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, AS9100, or NADCAP requirements.
• IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC-A-610, or IPC J-STD-001 certification.
