What you will do

  • Lead the architecture and implementation of next-generation compute solutions for a humanoid robot platform.
  • Define and validate compute requirements for motion control, perception, and AI workloads.
  • Design scalable, high-bandwidth compute systems with redundant, fail-safe, and diagnostic features for functional safety.
  • Design, simulate, implement, and test multilayer high-speed PCBs integrating System-on-Modules such as NVIDIA Orin.
  • Lead signal integrity, power integrity, power sequencing, performance benchmarking, thermal management, and power analysis.
  • Own hardware development from concept and prototyping through validation, production release, and ongoing support while mentoring electrical engineers.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in embedded systems or robotics compute design.
  • Proven experience architecting and shipping high-performance compute solutions for robotics, autonomous systems, or similar applications.
  • Deep knowledge of functional safety principles, including IEC 61508, and safety-critical design.
  • Expertise with embedded compute platforms such as NVIDIA Jetson and Intel, plus RTOS, multicore processing, Ethernet, and CAN.
  • Experience with sensor bandwidth management, high-speed data transfer, SoMs, memory, storage, PMICs, and power trees.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree or Ph.D. is preferred.
