Electrical Engineer (Robotics)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States; on-site. The role may require an extended assignment in the EU for onboarding and support of European operations.

Salary: USD $115,000–$150,000 per year, depending on skills, experience, and location.

What you will do

• Design electrical systems, wiring harnesses, and control architectures for robotic platforms.
• Select and integrate sensors, actuators, motor controllers, power distribution, and embedded electronics.
• Develop electrical schematics and documentation while supporting products from prototype through production.
• Build, test, and validate electrical systems for performance, reliability, and safety.
• Troubleshoot electrical and control-system issues during development, manufacturing, deployment, and customer commissioning.
• Drive improvements in system performance, manufacturability, reliability, cost, and engineering documentation.

Requirements

• Completed training or studies in electrics, electrical engineering, or a comparable discipline.
• 3+ years of experience designing electrical systems for robotics or similar fields.
• Experience with control systems, sensors, actuators, and electrical components.
• Knowledge of embedded systems and circuit design software.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems.
• Ability to work on-site in Boston and potentially complete an extended EU assignment for onboarding and operational support.
