Technical Recruiter (Defense)

hirify.global is a defense startup developing an autonomous gun turret that uses computer vision and control systems to target small drones and loitering munitions.

What you will do

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for manufacturing, engineering, and operations roles supporting defense and government programs.
• Recruit manufacturing engineers and technicians, software and computer vision engineers, mechanical engineers, and mission and technical operations specialists.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand technical requirements, clearance needs, and program timelines.
• Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking events, and direct outreach.
• Screen candidates for technical competency, cultural fit, and eligibility to work on defense-related programs.
• Coordinate interviews, offers, onboarding, ATS records, employer branding initiatives, and recruiting events.

Requirements

• 3–8 years of recruiting experience, including experience in defense, aerospace, manufacturing, or government contracting.
• Experience recruiting for manufacturing, engineering, and business operations roles.
• Experience with ATS platforms and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Greenhouse.
• Knowledge of technical recruiting and familiarity with DoD environments.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
