PRN Medical Assistant - Central Maryland

Location: MD-Hagerstown, United States; onsite clinic position

Pay range: $22.00–$28.00 per hour

What you will do

• Escort patients, prepare exam rooms, and maintain clinical supplies and equipment.
• Review and update patient health information, take vital signs, perform blood draws, administer injections and immunizations, and assist with procedures.
• Perform front-desk duties including scheduling, check-in and check-out, medical record requests, referrals, and specialist coordination.
• Document accurate patient data, process test results, and communicate results according to provider instructions.
• Support individual patient care plans and conduct outreach to improve engagement among eligible patient groups.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific Medical Assistant certification or registration is preferred and required where mandated by the state.
• CPR/BLS certification is required by the start date.

Nice to have

• Phlebotomy experience.
