What you will do

• Administer or assist with self-administration of prescribed medications under RN or LPN supervision.
• Maintain accurate medication records and other required medical documentation.
• Provide resident care according to individual care plans.
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical condition, cognition, and emotional status.
• Protect residents' comfort, privacy, and dignity while delivering services.

Requirements

• Active CNA and/or HHA New Jersey license required.
• Successful completion of Medication Technician training and periodic competency testing.
• At least six months of experience working with seniors in personal care, home health, hospital, or long-term care.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of HIPAA policies and ability to follow state medication-administration regulations.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays; ability to lift or support residents weighing up to 50 lbs.
