Senior Commercial Manager (Data Centers)

Salary: $140,000–$180,000 annually plus bonus

What you will do

• Lead commercial strategy and execution for data center construction projects, including contract negotiations, pricing, and risk management.
• Manage client relationships and act as the primary contact for commercial matters.
• Partner with project management, engineering, and finance teams on commercial proposals and pricing models.
• Lead cost management across pre- and post-contract activities, including GMP establishment, change order evaluation, pay application reviews, and final accounting.
• Develop project budgets from baseline through full funding and monitor forecasts, financial performance, risks, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Provide guidance on project financial reports and commercial matters throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Commercial Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10–15 years of commercial management experience in construction, real estate, or data center projects.
• Strong knowledge of commercial principles, contract law, and risk management.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial modeling software.
• Ability to prepare financial analyses and reports for senior management and stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar project management software.
• Knowledge of sustainable construction practices and LEED accreditation.
