Construction Project Manager (AI Data Centers)

Location: Remote, USA, with full-time onsite expectations in the San Francisco, Long Beach, or Houston offices outside of bi-weekly WFH Fridays. Exceptions may be considered for exceptional candidates outside these hubs.

hirify.global builds and deploys electrical infrastructure and modular AI data centers, combining equipment supply, engineering, general contracting, and real estate development.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of data center buildouts from contract execution through commissioning and handoff.
• Build and maintain project schedules, milestone trackers, and budget logs across concurrent deployments.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, finance, manufacturing, EPCs, general contractors, utilities, customers, and other external partners.
• Identify risks early, escalate blockers, and drive timely resolution.
• Lead structured project reviews with senior leadership and present clear decision points.
• Hold vendors, subcontractors, and stakeholders accountable while creating repeatable delivery systems and decision-ready documentation.

Requirements

• 4–8+ years of project management experience in data centers, construction, energy infrastructure, or complex capital projects.
• Proven delivery of large-scale physical projects on schedule and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, cost tracking, risk management, and change control, using MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and external contractors without direct authority.
• Clear, direct communication skills, including presenting to C-suite and customer stakeholders.
• High ownership, sound judgment in ambiguous situations, and the ability to work in a fast-moving environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with modular or prefabricated data center deployments.
• Familiarity with transformers, switchgear, and MV/LV systems.
• PMP, PE, or equivalent certification.
• Experience working with hyperscalers, neo-cloud customers, or colocation operators.
