Senior Staff RF Design Engineer (IoT)

Location: Neuchâtel, Switzerland, with 4 days onsite

Salary: 112,500–150,000 CHF per year

What you will do

• Lead the design, simulation, and optimization of RF front ends.
• Define RF architectures for receivers, transmitters, frequency synthesizers, LNAs, mixers, filters, PAs, and VCOs.
• Extract S-parameter models for packages and PCBs.
• Develop matching networks for receive and transmit applications while meeting regional regulatory requirements.
• Simulate and measure radio performance and compliance.
• Optimize application PCBs for robust RF performance.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Expertise in LNAs, mixers, filters, and power amplifiers for sub-GHz and 2.4 GHz systems.
• Experience developing matching networks for Rx/Tx applications.
• Proficiency with SiWave, HFSS, and EMX electromagnetic simulation tools.
• Strong understanding of interactions between RF blocks and power management; excellent communication skills in English are required.

Nice to have

• PhD with 12+ years of experience.
• Experience with non-constant-envelope modulations.
• Familiarity with CSS modulation and the LoRaWAN protocol.
• French language skills.
