Sr Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (JAX, FL - Hybrid)

What you will do

• Lead financial due diligence for acquisitions, partnerships, and divestitures, including quality of earnings, synergy validation, and risk assessment.
• Build valuation and transaction models covering DCF, LBO, accretion/dilution, and scenario analysis.
• Define integration roadmaps, track synergy realization, and manage post-close finance integration, including carve-outs, stranded costs, and systems consolidation.
• Lead finance transformation initiatives involving planning-process redesign, financial systems modernization, analytics, automation, and AI-enabled forecasting.
• Define the future-state FP&A operating model, data governance, KPI frameworks, reporting standards, and financial controls.
• Advise executives and business leaders, present complex financial insights to boards and investors, and lead a high-performing FP&A team.

Requirements

• Expertise in M&A financial modeling, transaction structuring, valuation, and integration finance.
• Experience leading or significantly contributing to finance transformation programs in large, complex organizations.
• Deep knowledge of P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and valuation mechanics.
• Experience partnering with Corporate Development, Investment Banking, or Private Equity in deal contexts.
• Proficiency with enterprise planning systems such as Anaplan, Adaptive, or Hyperion, plus data visualization tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or an equivalent skills-based background, with strong executive communication and people leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, payments, financial services technology, or regulated environments.
• Carve-out finance, stranded cost analysis, or post-merger integration experience.
• Exposure to AI/ML applications in financial planning and forecasting.
• Board, audit committee, or investor presentation experience.
• MBA, CPA, CFA, or comparable certification; familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or Workday.
