Corporate Development Director (Fintech)

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end M&A processes, from identifying targets through deal execution and integration.
• Build an acquisition go-to-market strategy for retiring advisors and RIA firms.
• Develop seller business cases, valuation models, and committee memoranda.
• Conduct due diligence and structure and negotiate complex transaction terms.
• Design and implement post-merger integration strategies.
• Collaborate with operations, product, recruiting, finance, legal, and compliance teams while expanding the industry network.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant experience in corporate development, M&A advisory, private equity, or investment banking.
• MBA from a top-tier institution.
• Strong finance, financial modeling, valuation, and deal construction skills.
• Proven experience executing M&A transactions.
• Strong relationship-building, stakeholder management, and persuasive communication skills.
• Resilient and results-oriented approach.

Nice to have

• Wealth management or RIA aggregator experience.
• Experience with financial advisor succession planning or post-merger integration.
• Network within the top 20 RIA aggregators.
• CFA, CFP, or other relevant certifications.
