Sr. Business Process Improvement Manager (Institutional Services)

What you will do

• Redesign and optimize end-to-end business processes across multiple Institutional Services business lines.
• Interview subject matter experts, process owners, and division managers to document current-state processes and design improved future-state processes.
• Assess operational risks, process gaps, and control weaknesses, and escalate risk-related issues when required.
• Design, implement, maintain, and enhance internal controls in line with regulatory and compliance standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, change management, and problem-solving methodologies.
• Develop business cases, support implementation initiatives, and monitor process performance through KPIs, KRIs, and operational metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of relevant experience, or a qualifying combination of higher education and work experience including 7 years of relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of financial services experience.
• Ability to document processes accurately and in detail using BPMN 2.0.
• Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean, or Agile certification.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, design, and systems-thinking skills.
• Experience managing multiple assignments under time constraints.

Nice to have

• Eight or more years of process improvement experience.
• FinTech or Corporate Trust experience.
• Experience with risk management practices, including Risk and Control Assessments.
• Experience scaling process design practices across large, complex organizations.
• AI prompt engineering experience.
