Company

hirify.global is a vertically integrated aerospace company developing supersonic aircraft, dual-use propulsion systems, and high-speed flight hardware.

What you will do

  • Establish the airframe manufacturing operation from the ground up, including facilities, workflows, tooling, equipment, and consumables.
  • Translate engineering drawings, analyses, requirements, CAD models, and ply books into executable manufacturing plans.
  • Coordinate composite layup, bonding, curing, trimming, assembly, repair, and rework activities.
  • Develop and continuously improve manufacturing processes, build sequences, tooling approaches, and process documentation.
  • Maintain a hands-on production-floor presence while collaborating with design, tooling, quality, production, supply chain, suppliers, and technicians.
  • Create manufacturing instructions, develop tools and fixtures, support inspections, and drive improvements in throughput and quality.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in high-variability composite manufacturing, including prototyping and airframe fabrication.
  • Hands-on experience with prepreg and wet layup, bonding, curing, trimming, repair, drilling, fastening, and composite-to-metal interfaces.
  • Experience developing complex composite or aerostructure manufacturing processes from the ground up and building or scaling development or flight-hardware operations.
  • Proficiency in an industry-standard CAD system, preferably NX; experience with composite tooling, assembly fixtures, GD&T, DFM, PLM or MES, and CAM systems.
  • Experience with quality inspection, dimensional measurement, NDI, destructive and non-destructive testing, first article inspections, CMM or laser trackers.
  • Experience with laser projection, CNC ply cutting, AFP/ATL systems, large structures, mechanical systems, and aircraft or spacecraft integration is relevant to the role.

Culture & Benefits

  • Hands-on, interdisciplinary environment with a flat structure and strong engineering focus.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance, including Flexible Spending Accounts.
  • 401(k) program and stock option plan.
  • Flexible time off with PTO, paid holidays, and sick time.
  • Flexible work environment within an in-office work model.
