Technical Trainer-ETCH-Xi'an (ETCH)

Location: Xi'an, China; relocation eligible. Requires domestic and international travel for approximately 25% of the time.

What you will do

• Deliver specialized and customized technical training at internal facilities and customer sites, including classroom and laboratory activities.
• Maintain product knowledge, develop certification requirements, certify instructors, and communicate updated product information.
• Design, approve, and improve technical courses, procedures, best-known methods, and supporting documentation.
• Provide equipment troubleshooting and technical support, including alpha-site engineering support, chamber builds, safety retrofits, and new-product testing.
• Coach and mentor instructors, lead project teams, and resolve customer satisfaction issues.
• Work with engineering, manufacturing, technical publications, system business units, and field organizations to identify training and documentation needs.

Requirements

• Conceptual and practical expertise in the relevant technical discipline, with basic knowledge of related disciplines.
• Knowledge of best practices and how the technical training function integrates with other business areas.
• Ability to solve complex problems using information from multiple sources and apply sound judgment.
• Ability to explain difficult or sensitive technical information and build consensus.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally and work off-shift or weekends when assigned.
• Ability to develop technical materials, study technical documentation, and understand operating procedures and production sequences.
