Production Technician (Robotics)

Location: On-site in Metzingen / Riederich, Germany

Full-time employment in the Production department.

Developing and manufacturing robotic systems that combine mechanical, electrical, and mechatronic components.

What you will do

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components and complete robotic systems using technical drawings and specifications.
• Integrate and wire components into fully functional electromechanical units.
• Perform quality and functional tests on assemblies and robotic systems.
• Document errors, prepare precise error reports, and support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.

Requirements

• Completed technical vocational training, such as Industrial Mechanic or Mechatronics Technician.
• Ability to work confidently with technical drawings, bills of materials, and assembly instructions.
• Interest in mechatronic systems, automation, and robotics technologies.
• Confident spoken and written German is required.
• Professional, careful, well-structured working style with strong teamwork and service orientation.

Nice to have

• Further training as a Technician or Master Craftsman.
• Professional experience in automation or robotics.
• Experience with wiring and electrical installation.
• Knowledge of quality assurance and testing procedures for electromechanical assemblies.
• English skills.
