Manager, Land Enablement

Location: DFW/PHX/ORD — Dallas-Fort Worth, Phoenix, or Chicago, United States; domestic travel of up to 25% per month required as project needs require.

Salary: $110,000–$150,000 per year plus bonus.

What you will do

• Support the Land Enablement strategy for preparing a portfolio of sites for potential future data center development.
• Recommend site preparation and off-site infrastructure scopes to improve future development efficiency.
• Review construction plans and coordinate design, construction, permitting, and land-use activities.
• Track site improvements, permits, agreements, schedules, budgets, risks, and opportunities.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders, consultants, vendors, and other project partners to resolve delivery obstacles.
• Manage project administration, budgets, cost modeling, status reporting, and subcontractor contract negotiations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Land Planning, Real Estate, or an equivalent field.
• At least 7 years of experience in design, project management, construction management, civil engineering, or site and land development.
• Experience managing multiple large-scale projects and coordinating internal teams, consultants, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications, develop scopes of work, estimate costs, and assess schedule impacts.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, time management, confidentiality, and deadline management skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 25% per month.

Nice to have

• Data center development experience.
• Experience with MS Projects, Prolog, Procore, BIM 360, Smartsheet, or similar project management software.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD.
