Field Service Engineer (172786) Edwards (Electrical/Mechanical)

Location: On-site in Taichung, Taiwan, with significant travel to customers within the designated Taiwan area.

What you will do

• Install, commission, and perform scheduled maintenance on Edwards solutions at Micron.
• Troubleshoot equipment and provide field support at customer sites.
• Understand customer requests and communicate them to the Field Service Team Leader.
• Work independently and collaboratively while maintaining a customer-focused approach.
• Respond to after-hours service calls within a maximum of two hours.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Good engineering knowledge.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivation, discipline, proactive behavior, and the ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude under pressure.

Nice to have

• Field service experience.
• Experience with electro-mechanical assembly and electrical or PLC controls.
