Field Service Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Hsinchu, Taiwan (Onsite)

What you will do

• Provide technical support and recipe setup for e-beam inspection tools at customer sites.
• Perform on-site diagnostics, service calls, and respond to emergency equipment issues.
• Troubleshoot complex equipment and recipe problems to ensure optimal performance.
• Instruct customer operating technicians on system maintenance and operation procedures.
• Collaborate with the sales department to provide technical advice to customers.
• Document technical knowledge systematically and mentor new hire engineers.

Requirements

• BS degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer support department for high-tech products.
• At least 1 year of experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred.
• Proficiency in C, Python, and Matlab.
• Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a high-pace environment.
• Must be based in Hsinchu, Taiwan with the ability to travel to other TSMC sites (20%).

Nice to have

• Master's degree in an engineering field.
