Senior Product Manager, Hardware Platform (Robotics)

Develops AI-powered humanoid robots, including Apollo, for manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, home, and other applications.

What you will do

• Own the hardware platform roadmap, including scope, sequencing, priorities, reliability, cost, and supportability.
• Manage the deployed robot fleet as a product using operational, field, service, and telemetry data.
• Translate customer and deployment insights into product requirements and communicate them to engineering teams.
• Lead trade studies and prioritization decisions across performance, reliability, cost, serviceability, schedule, and technology adoption.
• Manage engineering changes, retrofit and upgrade programs, and software and hardware update rollouts.
• Partner with supply chain, engineering, program management, marketing, and external partners on lifecycle, production, and adoption initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of product management experience.
• Experience managing a hardware product throughout its full lifecycle, from launch to end-of-life.
• Experience managing trade-offs involved in shipping physical products and iterating hardware.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, including experience using fleet, field, or telemetry data to guide product decisions.
• Experience evaluating emerging technologies through trade studies, maturity and risk assessment, and business cases.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent technical field.

Nice to have

• Experience in robotics or autonomous vehicles.
• Experience managing platform transitions between product generations.
• Familiarity with functional safety for hardware systems.
