What you will do

• Build and maintain a long-term software product roadmap aligned with company goals and market opportunities.
• Work with customers to understand problems, validate needs, and identify product opportunities.
• Define product requirements, write specifications, and prioritize development based on value and impact.
• Set, communicate, and track production timelines across related departments.
• Use metrics to measure product success, track bugs, and guide future iterations.

Requirements

• Experience with software and hardware product development.
• Leadership experience with a self-starting and responsible approach.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Empathy, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with customers and stakeholders.
• Ability to work on site in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Nice to have

• Market research experience.
• Experience managing product rollouts.
• Experience identifying licensing opportunities or product partnerships.
• Marketing knowledge related to customer purchases and product competition.
• Clear and concise technical writing skills.
