Senior Product Owner I, Phoenix (Robotics)

Location: Onsite at hirify.global's Austin, Texas campus, United States. The role includes international travel for 4+ weeks per year and work in extreme outdoor environments.

What you will do

• Lead delivery of a defined Phoenix subsystem and report progress, budget, schedule, and risks to the Product Manager.
• Prioritize tasks and maintain alignment with business and product goals in the Master Schedule.
• Coordinate with functional leads and other Product Owners to maintain requirements, interfaces, processes, and best practices.
• Capture and integrate feedback from stakeholders, customers, and end users.
• Communicate product changes and implementations to affected functional disciplines.
• Track product risks and escalate issues affecting priorities, schedules, or budgets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, physics, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a relevant science with 8 years of relevant experience; alternatively, an associate's degree with 10+ years of equivalent experience or proven experience in similar roles.
• Experience delivering milestones within engineering development teams and products that meet customer requirements.
• Experience designing and developing industrial equipment, machinery, industrial robotics, or mobile robotics, with knowledge of complex automation systems and field requirements.
• Experience working with manufacturers and distributors and building external partnerships.
• Knowledge of Jira and Agile project management, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, work in extreme environments, and travel internationally for 4+ weeks per year.

Nice to have

• 4+ years of experience in product management, product development, technical leadership, or similar roles.
• Understanding of OSHA, CE, UL, ISO, Machinery Directive, and other machine-certification requirements.
