Software Engineer - Web Application, Frontend (JavaScript/React)

Location: New York office with hybrid work flexibility

Salary: $150,000–$200,000 per year, excluding bonuses, benefits, and other compensation.

What you will do

• Build scalable web-based user interfaces and trading tools.
• Develop real-time trading, visualization, analysis, and reporting applications.
• Collaborate with traders and developers to gather requirements and implement solutions.
• Design intuitive user interfaces using modern web technologies and JavaScript frameworks.
• Contribute primarily to frontend development, with potential opportunities to work on backend systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with React, Angular, or Node and with REST and WebSockets API design.
• Experience with source code management; Git experience is beneficial.
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or KDB databases.
• Object-oriented design skills and an interest in trading and financial markets.
