Software Engineer II, Web Frontend (React)

What you will do

• Own the architecture, development, and ongoing evolution of the Assure web UI.
• Modernize legacy UI components by migrating them to a scalable React-based foundation.
• Partner with internal users and stakeholders to understand workflows and translate requirements into effective user experiences.
• Design and develop interactive data visualizations for print-job performance and printer fleet health.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate and present data from REST APIs.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on web front-end development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript and modern web development practices.
• Professional experience building production applications with React, including component design, hooks, state management, routing, and styling.
• Experience building reusable UI components, front-end architectures, REST API integrations, and automated unit, integration, or component tests.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design, browser fundamentals, debugging, performance, and reliability.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with users, stakeholders, designers, and software engineers.
