Frontend Engineer (AI)

Location: Palo Alto, California, United States; hybrid work arrangement.

Salary: $205,000–$260,000 annually in California, plus potential bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Build and extend the web console for capacity and cluster views, provisioning, quotas, usage, access management, and operational visibility.
• Implement frontend integrations with customer-facing APIs and contribute feedback on API design, errors, missing states, and usability.
• Own frontend development end to end, including component structure, state management, styling, accessibility, testing, performance, tooling, and build pipelines.
• Handle partial data, long-running provisioning, streaming telemetry, permission-scoped views, and multi-tenant security boundaries.
• Support developer-facing documentation, error messaging, and consistency between the console and APIs.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, Agile collaboration, production support, and customer issue triage.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, with solid HTML and CSS fundamentals.
• Deep experience with React, Vue, Angular, or an equivalent modern component framework.
• Experience with component design, state management, asynchronous and frequently changing data, frontend performance, REST or GraphQL APIs, testing, version control, and CI/CD.
• Ability to work from UX designs, provide technical feedback, and collaborate effectively with backend engineers.
• Interest in technical domains such as GPU clusters and AI infrastructure.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted development and coordinating coding agents through CLI tools, IDE assistants, MCP, skills, or APIs.
• Experience building cloud consoles, dashboards, admin panels, observability tooling, or other developer-facing interfaces.
• Experience with data-dense interfaces, time-series visualization, real-time updates, design systems, or component libraries.
• Familiarity with OpenAPI, generated clients, contract testing, Terraform, Pulumi, OIDC, SAML, SSO, and permission-scoped interfaces.
• Some backend development experience and experience working across time zones.
