Frontend Engineer (Fintech)

Location: New York, NY; on-site, 5 days per week in the office

Base salary: $200,000–$400,000 per year, plus equity and annual performance-based bonuses

What you will do

• Architect and ship performant interfaces for dense, fast-moving financial information.
• Build user interfaces that handle large data volumes, real-time updates, and complex operational workflows.
• Develop component architecture, state management, interaction design, and motion systems.
• Work closely with design, product, and engineering leadership on ambitious product experiences.
• Lead and execute initiatives spanning frontend engineering and design.

Requirements

• Strong background in React and TypeScript.
• Experience building and shipping performant UIs for data-intensive and complex operations.
• Frontend, full-stack, or product engineering experience.
• Ability to work autonomously, solve ambiguous problems, and own outcomes.
• Ability to work on-site in the New York office 5 days per week.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Next.js and Vercel.
• Experience with Figma.
• API development in Go or Python.
• Experience building WebSocket-based real-time UIs.
