Salary: $46,900–$89,850 annually, based on experience.

What you will do
- Supervise daily accounts receivable workflows and monitor trends in denied and unpaid insurance claims.
- Support specialists with problematic claims, payer investigations, claim remediation, and high-dollar account reviews.
- Lead team huddles and DIBS meetings while developing staff through training, coaching, and feedback.
- Set departmental goals, monitor productivity and quality standards, manage budgets, and prepare performance reports.
- Manage team HR activities, including hiring, terminations, performance management, timecard approval, and Workday documentation.
- Partner with billing, coding, revenue integrity, and other departments to achieve revenue cycle and customer satisfaction goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in medical collections, hospital or physician operations, accounts receivable follow-up, denials and appeals, compliance, provider relations, or professional billing.
- Knowledge of claims review and analysis, revenue cycle operations, medical terminology, and insurance claim terminology.
- Experience using the DDE Medicare system and payer websites to investigate claim statuses.
- CRCR certification is required upon hire or within 9 months of hire, unless an approved equivalent certification is accepted.
- Ability to travel to and work onsite at designated locations when business needs require.
