Sr. Manager of Inventory Management, Logistics, and Procurement (Robotics)

What you will do

• Lead inventory management and warehouse operations, improving inventory accuracy, material availability, traceability, and material flow.
• Own inbound, outbound, and inter-site logistics, including carrier, 3PL, customs broker, shipping, and transportation performance management.
• Lead procurement and supplier management from requisition and purchase-order placement through delivery, issue resolution, negotiations, and supplier recovery.
• Build KPIs, dashboards, operating reviews, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and standardized operating procedures across the functions.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain Planning, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and IT to improve ERP/MRP processes, master data, reporting, and transaction discipline.
• Build and scale teams across inventory, warehouse operations, logistics, and procurement while developing managers and individual contributors.

Requirements

• Demonstrated success improving inventory accuracy and material availability in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, procurement, supplier management, transportation, and material flow.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, inventory transactions, bills of material, purchase orders, planning signals, and master data.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, stakeholder-management, and root-cause analysis skills.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, materials management, inventory management, procurement, logistics, or manufacturing operations.
• 5+ years of people-management experience, including leading managers or multidisciplinary operational teams; a bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in robotics, aerospace, automotive, industrial equipment, electronics, or other complex hardware and manufacturing environments.
• Experience scaling operations from prototype or low-volume production to higher-volume manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP, MRP, WMS, inventory-management systems, complex bills of material, engineering changes, configuration management, or new product introduction.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, international logistics, import/export, and trade compliance.
• APICS/ASCM, CPSM, Lean Six Sigma, or related certification.
